Labor Minister Mohamed Gobran on Sunday, October 12, 2025, discussed with Sudanese Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare Mutasim Ahmed Saleh means of boosting cooperation in files of mutual concern.
This came during a meeting between the two ministers on the sidelines of the Arab Labor Organization board of directors meetings in Cairo.
During the meeting, Gobran and Saleh affirmed the strength of historic ties and shared goals uniting the Egyptian and Sudanese.
They hailed keenness of the political leaderships of both countries to maintain tangible cooperation and coordination to serve development and stability efforts.
Gobran reviewed the Ministry of Labor’s initiatives aimed at regularizing the status of foreign workers in Egypt.
