Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and building on the positive momentum seen across political, economic, and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum and reflected the close ties linking the leadership and peoples of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
The two ministers also exchanged views on regional developments, including the Palestinian issue and the situation in the West Bank, the second phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, as well as developments in Sudan within the Quartet framework, and the situations in Yemen, Syria, and Libya.
Both sides agreed on the importance of continued coordination and consultation to support regional security and stability and to strengthen joint Arab action.
