EgyptAir begins airlift to return pilgrims from Saudi Arabia

EgyptAir commenced its airlift to return pilgrims from Saudi Arabia after completing the Hajj rituals.

In this context, Chairman and CEO of the Holding Company for EgyptAir Ahmed Adel directed intensifying efforts and providing maximum care for pilgrims during their return phase to ensure smooth operations and swift procedures.

Adel confirmed that EgyptAir harnessed all its operational and technical capabilities to execute the return plan efficiently and regularly in coordination with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia and Cairo International Airport.

During the return journey, the EgyptAir mission headed by Assistant Head of the Commercial Affairs Sector for Stations Amin Afifi is providing the necessary logistical services to pilgrims returning from Jeddah and Medina airports to Egyptian airports.

EgyptAir is operating 12 flights today from Jeddah to transport 3,000 pilgrims from various ministerial, institutional, lottery, transit, individual and foreign delegations, as well as work and residency visa holders.

EgyptAir is also operating three flights from Medina to Cairo International Airport and one flight from Medina to Alexandria Airport.
