Due to bad weather conditions, Egypt’s national airline EgyptAir urged its passengers on international and domestic flights on Wednesday to reach Egyptian airports at least three hours before the departure of their flights, to ensure finalizing the check-in before flights depart.
In a statement, EgyptAir said that the heavy rains and generally poor weather conditions are expected to continue until Thursday, according to forecasts by the Egyptian Meteorological Authority.
EgyptAir has also chosen to exempt customers on its Tuesday evening flights of any fines for changing reservation dates, due to bad weather which caused delays and overcrowding in the streets leading to the airport.
The company called on customers to review and amend their reservations through the EgyptAir’s call center service, or to go to the sales office located in Terminal 3, which operates 24 hours or other offices spread all over the country.
