Egyptian ambassador in Berlin, Brandenburg’s minister-president probe fostering cooperation

CAIRO, April 14 (MENA) – Egyptian Ambassador in Berlin Mohamed al-Badry has discussed with Minister-President of the German federal state of Brandenburg Dietmar Woidke ways to elevate cooperation between Egypt and the German state in various fields, particularly the economic one, enhance trade exchange, manage water resources, and improve the quality of agriculture through modern technologies.

During the meeting, Badry reviewed the capabilities of Egypt’s skilled workforce, many of whom are fluent in German, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement on Monday.

This was welcomed by the German state’s minister-president; given the private sector’s need for bringing in such workers, said the statement.

The two sides agreed to intensify coordination and explore the possibility of concluding an agreement among a number of German states interested in recruiting Egyptian workers to implement this cooperation on the ground. (MENA)
