Nasser Bayan, president of the Egyptian-Libyan Association, called for a secure trade zone on the border to export Egyptian products to Libya after the Salloum port was closed and many Egyptians drivers were kidnapped.
Bayan also said that each party will be responsible of securing trucks from its side, especially since opening a maritime transport line would be difficult.
He expected a boom in trade between the two countries once stability is resorted on both sides.
