Egyptian, Polish FMs discuss boosting relations, regional developments

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum, Abdelatty stressed the importance of building on the current momentum in Egyptian-Polish relations and strengthening economic, trade and investment cooperation in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both peoples.

The two ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues, incldung the developments in the Gaza Strip.Abdelatty reviewed Egypt’s efforts to consolidate a ceasefire, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid and outlined Egypt’s vision for early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.

The meeting also addressed developments in Sudan, where Abdelatty underscored the importance of an immediate ceasefire, preserving Sudan’s unity and supporting its national institutions.The talks covered the latest developments in the Ukrainian crisis, with Abdelatty reaffirming Egypt’s support for diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching peaceful solutions that contribute to regional and international stability.
