The Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) announced that the Forbes International Tower in the New Administrative Capital won the best commercial skyscraper in Africa, during the International Property Awards (IPA).
IDSC said that the Forbes International Tower faced intense competition against “Five major international projects spanning four continents during the IPA events, and the tower won four prestigious awards reflecting its design and implementation value.”
“The awards include the best commercial skyscraper development in Africa, the best mixed-use development in Africa, the best commercial skyscraper development at the international level, and the best mixed-use development at the international level,” it added.
The Forbes International Tower is the first tower in the world to carry the Forbes brand, and is also the first zero-carbon tower in Egypt and the Middle East.
The tower consists of 55 floors, with its location chosen after great care by the Magnom Real Estate Company, established in its first partnership with Forbes International.
The Forbes International Tower is located in the heart of the new capital, specifically in the MU7 area, in front of the capital’s most famous landmarks and the tallest tower in Africa, the Iconic Tower.
