Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohamed Saleh al-Din Moustafa headed for the UAE on Sunday 16-2-2025 to take part in the international defense exhibition and conference (IDEX 2025).
In statements before leaving, the minister said the participation is a good chance for exchanging expertise with global companies operating in the defense sector.
The event will bring together leading global companies, decision-makers, and experts in the defense industry to showcase the latest technologies and solutions in the sector, aimed at enhancing international peace and security.
He added that his participation comes upon the invitation of UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohamed ben Mubarak Al Mazrouei and as part of fruitful cooperation between the Egyptian and the UAE sides in the different domains.
He said the Ministry of Military Production will showcase its products of weapons, ammunition, equipment and advanced defense systems.
This is the fifth participation of the ministry in the global defense platform.
The minister is to hold meetings with a number of participating heads of companies and will invite them to attend Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX) to take place in December.
IDEX 2025 is held under the theme of “Defense Reimagined: Innovation, Integration and Resilience”.
Held under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, IDEX is organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and with the Tawazun Council.
