The Nasr City Family Court issued a verdict on Thursday saying that the twins of actress Zeina were proven to be the children of actor Ahmed Ezz.
The court compelled Ezz to recognize his parenthood of the twins, and allowed Zeina to issue for them birth certificates and other official documents.
Judicial sources said Ezz still has the right to challenge the verdict.
The judge ordered Zeina to go out of the hall when she clashed with Ezz’s defense.
Zeina had filed a lawsuit against Ezz saying that she married him on June 15, 2012, and that the twins are his children. “My mistake was that I agreed to a customary marriage,” she said. “But the witnesses of our marriage testified against him in court.”
“I thank God the truth was finally revealed,” she wrote on Instagram.
The case, which was the talk of the public, took a year and a half.
