FJP: We will not recognize any decisions issued by Sisi

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) said it will not recognize any decisions issued by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who was elected last Tuesday and will be sworn in on Sunday.

In a statement of which the Turkish Anadolu news agency obtained a copy, the party said it will not recognize all decisions taken since 3 July 2013 until the return of President Mohamed Morsy.

The statement called on all revolutionary forces to restore the spirit of Tahrir Square and continue to struggle against the counter-revolution until the military coup is toppled and a genuinely democratic regime that reflects the will of the Egyptian people is reinstated.

Sisi won the recent presidential elections with a sweeping 96.91 percent.
