CAIRO, Sept 10 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said Egyptian and Saudi state institutions are making strenuous efforts to finalize some ambitious agreements that are envisioned to bring about a significant shift in bilateral economic cooperation.
Abdelatty was speaking during a joint press conference with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Tuesday.
He added that these agreements will open up new prospects for more Saudi investments in Egypt, which will further foster economic cooperation between both countries.
These agreements will serve as an initial step under the broader umbrella of the Egyptian-Saudi coordination council, which will be convened under the co-chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, Abdelatty noted.(MENA)
