
CAIRO, April 11 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty said he is looking forward to boosting cooperation with sisterly Kuwait upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah al- Sisi and Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and developing such relations in different domains to achieve joint interests of both nations.
Abdelatty’s remarks came at a meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al Yahya on Friday on the sidelines of their participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Abdelatty hailed brotherly bonds between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples and the meeting discussed distinguished joint ties between the two countries. He commended development of ties on all fronts.
The two ministers exchanged viewpoints regarding the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and ways of promoting the international support for the Arab-Islamic Early Recovery and Reconstruction Plan.
They also tackled coordination between the two sides to prepare for Cairo International Conference for Gaza Reconstruction.
They also probed different issues and regional topics of mutual concern. (MENA)
