Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will head for the Turkish capital Ankara Saturday at directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to represent Egypt in the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Abu Zeid added the participation of the foreign minister is part of development in the track of Egyptian-Turkish relations in the recent period.
Shoukry’s participation is also part of the utmost keenness of the two countries on restoring bilateral ties to normal in order to attain aspirations of both the Egyptian and Turkish peoples, according to the spokesman.
