FM stresses Egypt’s firm stance on supporting Sudan’s stability, territorial integrity

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty stressed Egypt’s firm stance on supporting Sudan’s stability, unity and territorial integrity.

Abdelatty made the remarks during his meeting on Friday with President of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, on the sidelines of the fourth Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Tamim Khallaf. The foreign minister expressed Egypt’s keenness to continue joint work with Sudan, particularly in light of close and historical bonds between the two countries and peoples.

On his part, Al-Burhan voiced deep appreciation for Egypt’s hosting of large numbers of Sudanese people in the past period and stressed support for strengthening bilateral ties in various areas. (MENA)
