The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) announced the temporary suspension of online ticket bookings until November 9, after visitor numbers reached the maximum capacity.
The GEM administration explained on its official booking website that the unavailable dates on the online schedule had reached their maximum booking limit.
It noted that high demand from the public after the museum’s opening had resulted in all available dates being filled up to that point.
The museum will resume accepting new reservations online starting Sunday, November 9, 2025. Daily opening hours will remain from 8:30 am to seven pm – except on Saturdays and Wednesdays when opening hours will extend until 10:00 pm.
Visitors can book admission tickets to the main exhibition halls and the Children’s Museum through the official website.
