Foreign minister receives phone calls from Pakistani, Canadian counterparts

CAIRO, June 15 (MENA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty Monday received two phone calls from Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand.

The foreign ministers of Pakistan and Canada welcomed the agreement reached between the US and Iran and commended efforts exerted by Egypt over the past months, as well as its contribution to facilitating the agreement in full cooperation and coordination with regional and international partners.

They voiced hope that the agreement would help create a favorable atmosphere and open a new chapter that would contribute to promoting security and stability across the region. (MENA)
