Former football player Ahmed Hossam Mido predicted that Hossam Ghaly, a member of the Al-Ahly club’s board of directors and a former football player, will be Al-Ahly Club’s next president.

“Hossam Ghaly will, of course, be the next president of Al-Ahly Club,” Mido told the Remontada program presented on Al-Mehwar channel.

This came after Ghaly appeared on the coronation podium while handing over the medals and the CAF Champions League cup to Al-Ahly players.

“I am happy and proud of my brother Hossam Ghaly, for the position he has reached. The appearance of Hossam Ghaly on the coronation podium was a clear message from Mahmoud al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly Club and his management, that Hossam Ghaly is the next one and is the future,” Mido said.

“Mahmoud Al-Khatib represents a strong front at Al-Ahly Club, and confirms with his message that Hossam Ghaly is the future and he next,” he concluded.

The Al-Ahly Sporting Club won Egypt Cup for the 38th time in its history, after defeating the team Pyramids.

They won with a final score of  two goals to one, in the final match that brought them together at Cairo International Stadium in April.

The Swiss coach Marcel Koller, coach of Ahly club, succeeded in achieving his second cup with the Reds, after he started with the Egyptian Super Cup at the expense of Zamalek.
