The Cabinet’s media center has denied reports alleging that a decision was taken to reduce the daily quota of subsidized bread for citizens registered in the country’s ration-card system.
The center said in a statement Friday 31/05/2024 that it has contacted the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, which totally dismissed such reports.
In this regard, the center urged all media outlets and social media users to verify the authenticity of news and contact the authorities concerned before publishing baseless information that may stir up confusion among citizens.
