Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has expressed Egypt’s keenness on offering medical services for the Sudanese during their current ordeal.
He made the remarks during a meeting on Sunday 8/9/2024 with minister plenipotentiary Ahmed Yousef, the nominated consul of Egypt in Port Sudan, to discuss means of mitigating health and humanitarian conditions in Sudan.
Abdel Ghaffar said his ministry works, since the start of the Sudan conflict, on providing medical services and vaccinations for children under 15 to prevent transboundary diseases.
He pointed out to the important role of medical convoys and mobile clinics that offer medical services to Sudanese people.
