Strong storms, accompanied by heavy rain, hit Damietta governorate throughout the night on Monday until Tuesday morning, which affected fishing at Manzala lake and the Mediterranean.
In related news, security troops intensified patrols on local roads and highways, fearing accidents and the escape of smugglers and drug dealers, who would take advantage of the bad weather to carry out their activities.
