Arab countries are joining forces to help residents of the Gaza Strip devastated by Israeli occupation forces following the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation, which saw the military wing of the Hamas movement cause a shock invasion of occupied territories by land, sea and air.
Residents of the Gaza Strip are facing a loss of basic necessities such as water, electricity, and the Internet.
Many institutions have launched donation campaigns to aid them. Al-Masry Al-Youm has listed several ways you can to donate through the Egyptian Red Crescent, the “Hayah Karima” (Decent Life) Initiative, and the National Alliance for Civil Development Work.

The Egyptian Red Crescent explained, on its official Facebook page, how to donate to Gaza online via phone text messages, or through a representative via the following methods:

- Send a text message from any mobile phone to the number 9770 with the word “Palestine” written (the value of the message is five LE).

For those wishing to support the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip by donating blood, the Life Makers and Shifa Al-Orman foundations launched an extensive blood donation campaign under the slogan “A drop of blood equals a life” in various Egyptian universities, in cooperation with the Health Ministry and the Blood Bank.
