Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Ayman Ashour attended the signing ceremony of contracts on Egypt’s first locally-manufactured electric vehicle (EV).
This came upon directives of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly during his tour of Egypt’s first intellectual property rights exhibition organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in September 2022.
The signing ceremony was attended by AASTMT chairman Mahmoud Saqr, representatives of the private sector, Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs Yasser Refaat, CEO of the Science, Technology and Innovation Finance Authority Walaa Sheta, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Omar al-Husseini and Head of the Automotive Department, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Mohamed Abdel Aziz.
The exhibition was held on the sidelines of the launch of the National Strategy for Intellectual Property by the Egyptian State on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
