Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour asserted deep-rooted historical and strategic ties between Egypt and the UAE, voicing Egypt’s aspiration to further strengthen these relations through expanding cooperation in higher education, scientific research and innovation.
During the minister’s meeting with Advisor at the UAE Presidential Court Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the ministry at the New Administrative Capital, the two sides reviewed significant progress in Egypt’s higher education system in recent years.
The meeting was attended by President of Alexandria University Abdelaziz Konsowa.
The minister pointed out to the establishment of numerous public, national private and technological universities as well as branches of prestigious international universities in Egypt.
