Hot humid weather throughout Egypt this week, EMA warns

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of hot humid weather this week across Egypt.

Hot weather is predicted  north of the country with very hot weather in the governorates of southern Upper Egypt, due to the expansion of the seasonal India low on the Arabian Peninsula all the way to Egypt, accompanied by a rise in temperatures and high surface humidity.

Temperature in Greater Cairo are expected to reach 37C, and in the governorates of southern Upper Egypt will likely exceed 40C.

The EMA expected high humidity levels, increasing the feeling of hot weather.

On Saturday, the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, hot humid weather prevailed during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, with very hot weather in South Sinai and south of the country.
