The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts moderate temperatures at night and in the early morning across most of the country on Monday.
Slightly hot temperatures are expected during the day along the northern coast, hot in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather in southern Upper Egypt.
The EMA indicated that temperatures will reach 31C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, 25C along the northern coast, 33C in northern Upper Egypt, and 37C in southern Upper Egypt.
Weather maps predicted a slight chance of light rain in parts of the northern coast and northern Lower Egypt at intervals, in addition to a chance of light, insignificant drizzle in scattered areas of southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.
Satellite data revealed higher wind activity across most of the country, potentially stirring up sand and dust in parts of the Red Sea Governorate and some exposed areas in southern Egypt, with speeds ranging between 30 and 40 km/h.
The EMA urged citizens – especially drivers – to exercise caution while driving in the early morning hours due to the fog, and to stay updated on the latest weather conditions.
