
Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northern part of Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip during the early hours of Sunday, according to the AlQahera News channel.
There were no immediate details on the extent of losses or injuries.
Earlier, four Palestinians were killed in shelling on the Qizan al-Najjar area south of Khan Yunis. Two other citizens were killed near the industrial zone west of Gaza City, and two more died in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza.
Various areas across the Gaza Strip have witnessed civilian casualties as a result of Israeli drone strikes, with a group of citizens targeted east of Rafah, resulting in varying degrees of injuries.
