Israeli army announces assassination of decades-long Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah

The Israeli occupation army revealed the details of the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for the occupation army, said that, “The army eliminated Nasrallah and one of the founders of the party, in addition to the assassination of Ali Karaki, the commander of the southern front in Hezbollah, and a number of other leaders in Hezbollah.”

“Adraee” explained via his account on the “X” platform, “The air force planes, with precise intelligence guidance from the intelligence agency of the security establishment, raided the central headquarters of Hezbollah located underground under a residential building in the southern suburb area. The raid was carried out at a time when the leadership of Hezbollah was inside the headquarters and they coordinated activities against the citizens of Israel.”

He continued, “Nasrallah was the main decision-maker in the organization and had the sole and final say over every strategic decision taken by Hezbollah and sometimes over tactical decisions as well.”

He stated, “On October 8, the Hezbollah organization and its leader Hassan Nasrallah joined the war against the State of Israel, and since that time Hezbollah has continued its attacks against the citizens of Israel and dragged the State of Lebanon and the region into escalation,” adding: “The IDF will continue to target anyone who promotes and is involved in terrorist acts against the citizens of the State of Israel.”
