The Japanese government offered Egypt a solar power plant to be built in Burg al-Arab city, west of Alexandria.
The station, which will generate large amounts of energy, is considered a step toward boosting ties between Egypt and Japan.
President of the Japanese Egyptian University Ahmed Khairy said that the Japanese side plans to provide all the equipment and research tools required for establishing the plant.
