Ministry of Labor said Sunday that Thursday, July 20, will be an official holiday for the private sector, marking the occasion of the first day of the Hijri New Year.
Also, Sunday, July 23, will be an official holiday on the occasion of the July 23 Revolution anniversary.
The decision was issued in light of the Prime Minister’s decision, as part of the Ministry’s keenness to unify official holidays for all employees in the various sectors whenever possible, the statement read.
