Klopp sends message to Mohamed Salah ahead of the 2026 World Cup

Former Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp sent a message to Egyptian international Mohamed Salah ahead of his participation with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup.

Salah suffered an injury that will keep him out of Liverpool’s upcoming matches.

Klopp told the BBC: “I really hope Mohamed Salah has a great World Cup in 2026. It’s fantastic to see him shine.”

He added, “It’s fantastic to see a player I’ve coached participating in the upcoming World Cup.”

The Egyptian national team is in Group G of the 2026 World Cup, alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.

The US, Canada, and Mexico are scheduled to host the 2026 World Cup, which will feature 48 teams for the first time in the tournament’s history, starting this June.
