Labor organization estimates Arab world corruption at US$400bn

The Arab Labour Organization presented a report on Sunday that estimated corruption in the Arab world at US$400 billion.

At its 38th conference in Cairo, inaugurated by Egyptian Manpower Minister Ahmed Hassan al-Borai, called for combatting all forms of corruption, which have made Arab citizens lose confidence in their government.
 
The organization called for respecting the independence of labor organizations and business owners and enacting reforms to ensure democratic representation to increase production and maintain a proper decision-making process.
