CAIRO, Nov 10 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly expressed his pride in taking part Monday’s House of Representatives election, describing this important constitutional entitlement as both a national duty and a constitutional right.
He called on all citizens to actively participate in this national event, in order to uphold their constitutional rights and continue their positive role in building the nation’s institutions and supporting its path toward the desired development, especially following the strong voter turnout witnessed among Egyptians abroad during the first phase of voting.
This came after Madbouly cast his vote in the 2025 House of Representatives election at his designated polling station in the Egyptian-Japanese School in Sheikh Zayed City, Giza Governorate.
The Prime Minister commended the efforts exerted by various state institutions, the National Election Authority, and Egyptian diplomatic missions for providing all forms of support, coordination, and cooperation to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the electoral process in polling stations both abroad and at home.
With the completion of this constitutional entitlement, the formation of the two chambers of the Egyptian Parliament will be finalized, paving the way for a new phase of national legislative work and continued constructive cooperation between the government and parliament, he said. (MENA)
