A Security Information Center official said that Muslim Brotherhood protesters staged a march on Thursday evening on Shaarawy street in Alexandria, allegedly firing shots and throwing Molotov cocktails, which resulted in the death of a local resident.
He added that security forces intervened immediately and arrested two protesters.
Meanwhile, the official also said that later in the evening an IED exploded 100 meters from the Raml Police Station, but it caused no damage.
