
Manchester City’s Egyptian star, Omar Marmoush, is being recognized among the world’s elite forwards following his impressive performances for the club.
The British football website, GiveMeSport, included Marmoush in their list of the top 15 global strikers, factoring in his goal tally, assists, goals-per-game ratio, overall team contribution, and individual displays.
Marmoush joined Manchester City during the recent winter transfer window, moving from German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The GiveMeSport ranking placed Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé at the summit, followed by Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski in second and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane in third. Marmoush secured the ninth spot, just behind Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez.
The report highlighted the positive impression Marmoush has made on Manchester City fans, particularly since manager Pep Guardiola has increasingly utilized him as a secondary striker.
Throughout the current season, combining his appearances for both Frankfurt and Manchester City, Marmoush has scored an impressive 27 goals and provided 11 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
