German Chancellor Angela Merkel has invited President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to visit Germany, said the German Ambassador to Cairo Hansjörg Habar, adding that Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Cairo before end of year.
In a press conference, Haber said that Germany is an important partner to Germany for its pivotal role in the Middle East. He indicated that German-Egyptian ties are based on all cultural, social and political fields.
Haber added that Germany supports Egypt in its war against terrorism and condemns all of its forms, pointing out to coordination among Egyptian and German authorities in the field of information gathering.
