The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of a rise in weather temperatures that is expected to continue this week reaching 37C in southern Upper Egypt due to hot air masses, and are expected to peak next Thursday.
Meteorologists warned against being deceived by weather maps which imply a decrease in temperatures by up to five degrees on Friday in northern Egypt.

Cairo is expected to record 27C, a decrease of five degrees, so spring weather will prevail during daylight hours.
Cold weather is expected in the morning, and hot weather in the daytime in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northwestern coasts. Warm temperatures are expected in the northeastern coasts, and hot temperatures in South Sinai and the south of the country.
Meteorologists warned of cold weather at night, in most parts, explaining that during this time period of the spring season a fluctuation in temperatures occur, causing a discrepancy between the maximum and minimum temperatures.
Waves heights in the Mediterranean Sea on Wednesday will range between one and 1.5 meters, and the surface wind will be northwesterly. While in the Red Sea, wave heights will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters high. Surface winds will be northwesterly.
