Meteorologists predict mild weather on Tuesday across Egypt during daylight hours, growing cold by night. Rainfall is expected in different parts of the country, including Lower Egypt and Cairo.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 24C in Alexandria and Cairo, 27C in Qena and Luxor, and 28C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts and northern Upper Egypt in the morning.
Low-level clouds are expected to be accompanied by rainfall on the northeastern coasts, parts of Lower Egypt, and possibly extending to Cairo. Winds are expected to be northwesterly and low to moderately active on the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to mild and range between 1 and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters.
Northwesterly surface winds are predicted on the Red Sea, while the Mediterranean Sea will experience northeasterly surface winds.
