The Military Production National Authority has taken part in the 8th edition of “Agri Business” exhibition, to be held on August 17-19 under the slogan “Agricultural Investment is the Future of the Nation” at the International Fairgrounds in Nasr City.
Military Production Ministry Spokesman Mohamed Eid Bakr said the ministry’s participation in the fair comes upon directives from Minister of Military Production Mohamed Salah Eldin Mostafa to intensify participation in domestic and international fairs.
Bakr said the exhibition is the first of its kind in Egypt that focuses on agriculture and irrigation equipment and solar energy, noting that the ministry will showcase its latest products of traditional irrigation and pivot irrigators, also known as center-pivot or circle irrigators, which are rotating machines that water crops using sprinklers. The irrigation method is highly efficient and irrigates crops in a circular area around the system’s pivot point, he explained.
The exhibition adopts the vision of the Egyptian state in presenting a new strategy for agriculture based on the introduction of national projects aimed at achieving self-sufficiency, exporting agricultural products to global markets and encouraging investors to enter the agricultural sector, especially modern agriculture and strategic and export agriculture.
