The Egyptian Company for Mobile Services and Subsidiaries, Mobinil, has announced it will take full ownership of ADSL provider Link.net. The declaration marks an end to the long controversy over the future of Link.net, which is currently owned by Orascom Telecom.
Link.net and Mobinil plan to hold a press conference today to provide further details on the deal.
Mobinil’s general assembly also agreed to amend some of the company’s basic regulations after the end of a recent dispute between France Telecom and Orascom Telecom, who share ownership of the company.
