The streaming platform Yango Play has released the teaser trailer for its upcoming 10-episode series, “Ward w Chocolata” (Roses and Chocolate), starring acclaimed actors Zeina and Mohamed Farrag, ahead of its exclusive launch on the platform soon.
Inspired by real events that shook the Arab world, the trailer of “Ward w Chocolata” unveils a story that begins with idyllic moments, roses, and chocolate. However, the soft whispers quickly turn into threats, spiraling into a toxic relationship that leads to an unthinkable turn of events and a mysterious fate that subverts all expectations.
The project is the latest of Yango Originals productions, created in collaboration with Al Adl Group. Written by Mohamed Ragab and directed by Mohamed El Adl, the collaboration promises a well-rounded production that merges powerful scripting with a distinctive directorial vision.
The teaser highlights the complex and tense relationship between the two main characters-Salah and Marwa-through emotional conflicts and sudden plot twists. It promises the audience an exceptional dramatic experience, increasing anticipation to uncover the secrets of the relationship and the intense tension that dominates it.
Joining Zeina and Farrag are a distinguished cast of co-stars, including Maryam El Khosht, Mourad Makram, Safaa Al-Toukhi, Maha Nassar, Mohamed Soliman, Amr Mehdi, and Bassam Ragab, along with rising talents such as Youssef Hashish and Aya Selim.
