Mohamed Salah achieves new record in the Premier League

Egyptian international Mohamed Salah scored a goal, which contributed to Liverpool’s victory over Everton by a double.

This match brought the two teams together at Anfield, on Monday, in the 23rd round of the English Premier League.

The running goal from the Egyptian King came at the 36th minute of the match, from inside the penalty area, after he received the ball through a quick pass from teammate Darwin Nunez.

Salah hasn’t scored for five consecutive matches in various competitions until that goal in Everton on Monday.

The Egyptian striker reached his 100th goal-scoring contribution at Anfield in the Premier League competition.

He has therefore scored 71 goals and provided 29 assists, in 104 matches played.

Salah has become the 13th player to contribute to 100 goals in one stadium, in the English Premier League.

He is the third fastest player to achieve this number, behind Alan Shearer, who needed 74 matches and Thierry Henry for 92 matches, according to “Opta” website that specializes in sports statistics.
