Mohamed Salah mourns Queen Elizabeth II

The Egyptian international and Liverpool FC striker Mohamed Salah mourned Queen Elizabeth II, through a message by him on the social media site Twitter.

“Today, the people of Great Britain and the world pay tribute and bid a final farewell to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, commemorating her legacy and unwavering service,” Salah wrote in a tweet coinciding with the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

“My thoughts are with the Royal Family on this historic and emotional day,” Salah added.

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, after which the English Premier League announced the postponement of the seventh round of the League, and some matches of the eighth round.

Today was the funeral of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96.
