Monday forecast – Cairo: 32C, Alexandria: 30C

 

Meteorologists expect a decrease in temperatures on Monday across Egypt, with Cairo’s dropping a full 4C compared to Sunday.

Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, cooling by nightfall.

Temperatures predicted include 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 38C in Sharm el-Shaikh, 39C in Hurghada, 37C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning.

Low-level clouds are expected in the north, accompanied by slight to medium rainfall on western costs, some areas of Lower Egypt, and South Sinai.

Winds are expected to be northeastern and moderate. They will be active on the South Sinai, Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northeastern surface winds. Meanwhile, waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
