National Dialogue’s Board of Trustees on Sunday thanked Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly over his keenness on the National Dialogue’s sessions’ outcome.
They also hailed Madbouly’s directives to the government to interact with the sessions especially economic dialogue sessions to kickstart Monday for four days, in the presence of representatives of the government, relevant ministries, experts, and specialists.
Earlier, Madbouly met with members of the National Dialogue’s Board of Trustees in which he said that a joint coordination group will be formed to follow up on implementing the recommendations and outcome of the first phase of the National dialogue sessions with the relevant ministries.
He also reaffirmed the importance of holding general and specialized discussion sessions within the National Dialogue to outline the priorities of national work in the upcoming phase.
He also highlighted President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s significant interest in the National Dialogue and his continuous directives to the government regarding the importance of swiftly translating the outcomes and recommendations into executable plans contributing to achieving targets in various sectors.
Many steps and measures are being taken to implement the outcome of the first phase. A group was formed by the Prime Minister’s Technical Office and the Information and Decision Support Center to monitor the implementation of these recommendations with the relevant ministries after drafting an executive plan by the Cabinet, Madbouli said.
Under Sisi’s directives, all ministers and relevant officials have been tasked with participating and positively interacting in the general and specialized discussion sessions of the second phase, he added.
The premier also briefed the attendees on the current economic challenges and the government’s efforts to address them, emphasizing the importance of discussing files and visions during the second phase sessions to come up with results that would assist decision-makers in dealing with such files.
General Coordinator of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan, Economic Axis rapporteur Ahmed Galal, and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Dialogue Mahmoud Fawzi attended the meeting.
