The Muslim Brotherhood has launched a new website called “Ikhwanophobia” to respond to attacks on the group by Western activists.
“We aim to reply to hostilities against Muslims and their organizations in the West,” said website manager Omar Mazen, adding that the site will maintain objectivity in dealing with this issue.
The Islamist opposition group has launched five websites in the last ten years, including its main site “Ikhwanonline”. It has another 29 sites for the internal affairs of its branches.
Essam el-Erian, a prominent Brotherhood leader and member of the group’s Guidance Bureau, said he did not know of any new website.
