Nubaria irrigation improvement project to be completed next month

Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Mohamed Abdel Muttalib said the Nubaria irrigation improvement project would be completed next month.
 
The project, located on 2.1 million acres, aims to eliminate irrigation bottlenecks and water shortages.
 
He said the project would improve irrigation from the Al-Hager Lake, which covers 94,000 acres, and the the water levels in front of and behind the K 60 barrier that covers 1.1 million acres.
 
He also said all bridges leading to the Al-Harby irrigation source would be renovated at a cost of LE2 million, The source produces 440,000 cubic meters of water a day.
