A man died and three others were injured with gunshots fired by unidentified assailants in Rafah and Arish in North Sinai on Friday.
Mahdy S., 29, died of a gunshot to his head in Nag Shebana area, south Rafah, security sources said.
Mahmoud A., 25, was injured in his left leg with a gunshot in Dar al-Tenk area, south Rafah, the sources added. The body of the deceased and the injured were transferred to Rafah Central Hospital.
Abdel Mahdy S., 25, was injured in his chest with a gunshot in Assiut Street in Arish, and Rehab A., 8, was injured with a gunshot in her left knee in Obour neighborhood, Arish. They were transferred to Arish General Hospital and prosecutors were notified for investigation, according to the same sources.
