Exceptional scenes unfolded in New Alamein City during the homecoming reception for the Egyptian national football team. Thousands of chanting fans surrounded the open-top bus carrying the players, marching alongside it on foot to celebrate the team’s historic performance at the World Cup.

The crowds repeatedly chanted, “You have made us proud! You have made us proud!” as Egyptian flags fluttered in a striking display of national pride. The scene reflected the immense public appreciation for the Pharaohs’ campaign, despite their exit from the tournament following a widely praised run.

The national team players engaged warmly with the fans. Several players tossed their official national team jerseys into the crowds lining both sides of the road, sparking immense joy among supporters racing to claim the historic memorabilia. From atop the open-air bus, the players continued to wave and salute the roaring crowd.
