Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has expressed the cabinet’s keenness on the regular follow-up of efforts to implement Warraq Island urban community development project carried out by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.
During a Cabinet meeting to follow up on the project in the presence of Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem al-Gazar and other ministers, Madbouly said the government will pay appropriate compensations to the residents who will be evacuated from the island.
The compensations include giving the residents better houses in new cities, plots of land in the New October City or Hadaek October City, or farmlands in Sadat City.
